Tyler Sjöström (pronounced “show-strum”) emerged from the Chicago music scene in 2014, establishing himself as a formidable singer-songwriter within the Americana and Folk genres. Renowned for his "bone-rattling" voice that exudes raw honesty and grit, Tyler effortlessly captivates audiences with each performance.
Over his illustrious career, Tyler has shared the stage with esteemed artists such as Tenille Townes, Judah and The Lion, Joseph, The Mighty Oaks, and The Secret Sisters, to name just a few. His music has resonated far and wide, gracing prestigious events like Lollapalooza and Oprah's arena tours, featuring in Aflac and Euro 2024 Futbol Championship commercials, and on French radio and television. He has also performed at several notable festivals, including but not limited to SXSW in Austin TX, C2C Fest in Berlin, Smiling Acres Fest in Michigan, and White Buffalo in Illinois.
In addition to his impressive live performances, Tyler has been hard at work in the studio and plans to release new music soon. With over a decade of professional experience, Tyler Sjöström embodies the quintessential artist, thriving both on and off the stage. His compelling presence and musical prowess continue to leave an indelible mark on the industry.
Tyler now lives, hikes, and fly fishes in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia with his wife, two young boys, their dog Mya, and several chickens.
